The Capital Region Grown Up Egg Hunt, now its sixth year supporting local and regional charities, will take place on Sunday, April 23 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Jennings Landing at the Corning Preserve in Downtown Albany, in addition to commercial corridors in Albany and Troy.
This will mark the first time the event has taken place in Albany. In its previous five installments, it has taken place in Troy. Founded by former Troy Record reporter Danielle Sanzone in 2012 and now managed by Ty Versocki from Relentless Awareness, the egg hunt raised thousands of dollars for organizations, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in its inaugural year. The beneficiaries of proceeds from this year’s hunt will be the Albany Center Gallery and In Our Own Voices.
Each year, we stuff more than 5,000 eggs for hundreds of egg hunters to get their hands on during the hunt, whether at the traditional park egg hunt or our city egg hunts.
Tickets are available for $13 (inclusive of processing fees) via Eventbrite. Click here to buy tickets.
